Despite the writers strike, NBC’s fall 2023 schedule doesn’t only consist of reality fare. Shows like La Brea, Law & Order: Organized Crime and The Americas might be on hold until midseason but the network has managed to slot a number of returning and new scripted shows this fall, courtesy of pre-strike/off-cycle production and acquisitions.

Cancelled NBC Shows not returning in the 2023-24 season

A number of NBC show’s met their undertaker last season and won't be on the schedule above or any future NBC schedules. NBC cancellations for the 2022-23 season are as follows: American Auto, The Blacklist (ended), Grand Crew, New Amsterdam, Young Rock. These shows will not return for the 2023-24 season.

Don't see your favorite NBC show on the fall 2023 schedule? The following NBC shows have been renewed and will return in midseason or later in 2024 (premiere dates to be announced):

New NBC shows 2024 Midseason

The following new NBC shows are also set to premiere in midseason or later in 2024 (premiere dates to be announced):
