  1. Best version of Dagliesh ever produced. Carvel is brilliant in the role … never burdening the viewer with his burdens and never acting other than professional in his role. How he mixes portraying someone burdened but engaged and caring is remarkable. Not seen it before. Other characters, especially Carlyss Peer, are also engaging, real, and act professionally. Hope this series continues.
