Starz has switched plans, abruptly pulling the plug on Dangerous Liaisons‘ second season renewal. Just weeks after granting the show a Season 2 renewal, all plans to continue the story have been scrapped at the cable network, leaving fans with three remaining episodes to wrap up the drama of Season 1, and indeed, the series as a whole.
The linear premiere drew in only 88,000 total viewers and a 0.03 rating among the 18-49 demographic according to Nielsen data, and didn’t improve in the subsequent weeks – numbers that no doubt made the Starz halls of power rethink their early renewal of the series.
Producers are currently shopping Dangerous Liaisons Season 2 to other outlets, but we strongly recommend fans make the most of the last three episodes – this one is perma-toast.
