Sex/Life Season 3 Cancelled By Netflix

Sex/Life has come to an end after two seasons.

Netflix has cancelled the comedy-drama starring Sarah Shahi, Margaret Odette, Mike Vogel and Adam Demos.

The streamer has opted not to move forward with a third season of the show. The second and final season was released on March 2, 2023.

According to Netflix spokesperson, “the second season brought the series to a natural close, wrapping up the storylines for key characters whose relationships come to a happy conclusion, adding the streamer is proud of the show and the work put in to it by producers, cast and crew.”

The writing has been on the wall for Sex/Life. In a recent interview with Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Shahi discussed her issues with the show’s second season:

โ€œI definitely did not have the support that I did the first season. Iโ€™m not going to put it [the show] down, but I definitely did not have the support that I did the first season from the people involved in the show,โ€ Shahi said. She also predicted that she was โ€œnever gonna work for Netflix again now after saying all this.”

Sex/Life Season 3 is not expected to find new life on another platform.
