The series chronicles the daily rituals of four families choosing to live in seclusion, vast distances from each other as they overcome harsh arctic conditions, frustrating setbacks, and aggressive wildlife while they survive in one of the last great unspoiled and unforgiving wildernesses on the planet. In the refuge, prop planes, canoes and dog sleds replace the modern luxuries that most people take for granted. Humans cohabit with the animal world and often share the same emotions and struggles while they discover that they are not necessary at the top of the food chain. It does seem like many good shows are cancelled. Wish the networks would make i r to find out if a show has been cancelled or renewed instead of searching all over the internet to see if it is coming back. I’ve seen where some shows died they were cancelled when they were not. PLEASE let us know. You will keep the shows like housewives of wherever and shows like BattleBots. Really? BattleBots. I do t care to watch kids baking a cake or anybody else as far as that is concerned. I can bake a cake good enough all by myself. How many house flipping shows do we really need?
